Our mission and vision
Our mission
To change lives with love, intentional care, and a commitment to the needs of every child.
Our vision
To see every child we care for nurtured, restored, and placed into a loving family; growing into secure, whole individuals who live with the confidence of being deeply known and loved, and who able to give and receive love for a lifetime.

Who we are
Casa Josefina is a transitional home in Cusco, Peru, for babies from birth to five years old. We provide a safe, loving environment where each child receives intentional care, nurturing, and stability during the most vulnerable stage of life. We don’t just care for children; we walk alongside them in love, honoring their story, and preparing them for a future where they are deeply known, loved, and able to thrive.

Our core values
We are a Christian home, committed to glorifying Christ in all we do, reflecting His love through every aspect of our care.
We see each child as unique and irreplaceable—not a statistic—offering personalized care that honors their dignity, story, and needs.
We serve as a transitional home, always working to place each child in a permanent, loving family—whether through reunification, foster care, or adoption.
We are committed to the long-term well-being of every child, seeking not only immediate care but lasting healing and the foundation for a thriving future.
We are driven by the conviction that every child belongs in a family, where they can be nurtured, supported, and loved.
We value the power of community, knowing that caring for children is a shared mission that requires generosity, unity, and partnership.
